UI/UX Non-profit

As someone heavily involved in my community, it was an honor to be able to help a nonprofit I had personally volunteered at for the past 3 years! I was able to bring first hand experience of what the program does, as well as an established relationship with the nonprofit’s director, John (guy with the cool beard in the middle).

The brand needed a facelift...

A lot of Micah’s Backpack as a brand was already established within the community. But for accessibility purposes and having a cohesive look, there was room to improve on making it cohesive and purposeful.

Old Website

The goal of a website facelift was to be able to allow potential volunteers and donors to find information quickly, as well as get updates in a timely manner. The primary place for updates was Facebook, which made the website’s relevancy feel like unutilized spaced. We decided to make it focused on learning about the organization, as well as work well with current social media.
